What is civworld?

Civ world is an empire building game based on the previous server type Civcraft. Players need to gather the resources needed to start their own City. From there players need to research technologies (Tech Tree) to unlock buildings, boost items and engage in large scale diplomacy and full scale war. Server is reset after win conditions are achieved by a civilization.

What should I do first?

To begin with you will spawn in the new world with nothing. You should walk around spawn and explore and find food from trees.

Now you're not starving to death, you have your first decision to make.

A) To join an existing civ. To do this ask in global, check discord civ recruitment or ask emerald / Falazar to see what civs are looking for new members. Once join listen to what your civ leaders tell you to do until you feel like you know how to play the game

(Recommended for new players especially if your joining the server without teammates)

B) Set off to start your own civ.

Use /civ create info to find civ requirements in game

Civ Requirements:

372 cobble 10 diamond blocks 20 gold blocks 64 iron blocks 32 prismarine (Underwater Temples one is located at:) 256 Jungle Logs (Jungle located at:) 256 Redwood Logs (Redwood Forest located at:) 64 Bricks 64 Red Concrete 64 yellow Glazed terracotta 20 Hair of Bear 10,000 coin (Can sell at bank, market or Grand exchange in spawn)

So first thing that is recommended is going to find a hidey hole to allow you to store things in preparation to making your civ.

Once sorted it's recommended that you divide your team up to gather resources.

Things to note:

We have a wildlife mod adding a variety of wildlife critters. Alot of them makes nature alot more alive and a little more hostile. Some animals to avoid:

- Crocodile / Alligators (They are very not friendly)

- Bears (will attack if ya get close)

- Giant Centipedes (Terrifying but alright till you fall in there nest

- Killer Whales (Dudes try to sink my boat then smashed through the ice to try kill me)

- Bats (Annoying and will attack you every night without fail)

Weapons and armour are limited by tech. Without a civ you are limited to wooden & gold. You can still equip and make tools of all materials.

Finally, you are unable to plant crops outside of a farm (Link to farm) and planting saplings will need to be done in a nursery. In addition all dirt, stone, and log blocks have a 50% chance to drop
