1. Tim - (NASG Organizer) I'm originally from Chicago but I moved to Austin as quick as I could. One of my many hobbies is cooking and one of my Asian specialties is sushi. I learn the art of sushi under the tutelage of Master Chef (Itamae) Kuniomi Mukaiyama. The date I have lined up for the top bidder is a Roll Your Own Sushi Lesson and Dinner. Not only will you enjoy a sushi dinner but you will also learn the art of making sushi. You will also receive some of the basic supplies to make it on your own to take home with you. 2. Mitchel - (NASG Organizer) I am a physician, recently relocated from Houston after 5 years there and another 5 in San Antonio. Prior to that I’m mainly from So. CA, with some early years in the Boston area and med school in Chicago. I enjoy scuba diving, cycling, rollerblading, skiing, kayaking, going to the theater, concerts, movies, etc. My evening will be a Midsummer Night’s Dream date: we will have dinner downtown followed by a performance of Shakespeare's most delightfully zany romantic comedy. 3. Ed I am currently an aspiring writer, recently moved here from Dallas and am also a DIEHARD Mavericks, Cowboys and Rangers fan. With backgrounds in psychological/ theological studies, fitness training, web design and music, I have been called a “jack of all trades” by many of my friends. I enjoy anything from working out, hiking, riding my bike, reading, listening to great music and karaoke, but I especially enjoy getting to know new and interesting people. My date will be a night of dinner and dancing (including lessons).

4. Kirk Born and raised between Baltimore and Washington D.C., BS in Geology. Bought small business here and taught gymnastics and swimming to little kids, grew it then sold it. I now work part-time job as prop-man w/ Austin Lyric Opera. I enjoy travel, happy hour, sports cars, being teased. For our date I will whisk you away to the cool azure waters of fabled Lake Austin. Renowned for it's steep cliffs and lush foliage, you will glide the waters upon a jet ski. Opulent palaces abound, tributes to the imagination, perseverance and decadence that is Austin. This is the playground of noble businessmen and renowned entertainers. We will dock at one of the eating establishments along the Lake for a gastronomic pleasure or two. 5. James - (NASG Organizer) I am a system analyst degrees in math and computer science, and spend way too much time in front of a computer during the day, so at night I love to get out and see movies and try out new restaurants, and have new experiences. My date night will be a unique one, a literal blind date. The Blind Cafe is hosting an event where you eat a chef prepared meal in total darkness, served by blind waitstaff, with a concert of original music performed as well. - A night you will never forget or SEE.

1. Paula I work in Accounting and recently moved to Austin from Dallas. So what better way to meet people than to put myself on the auction block for a charity. I love all types of venues around Austin... the food and music here are fantastic! For our date I would love to go to the Oasis for some great dancing and maybe eat at one of the three restaurants there. 2. Robin My occupation is marketing analysis. Beyond that, I am the adventurous sort. I love wandering and exploring, love novel experiences, love trying new foods and meeting new people and stumbling across undiscovered nooks. My interests include outdoor stuff like hiking and kayaking and tennis, and indoor stuff like reading and watching movies, and I do occasionally like to get out and go dancing. My date will be a 3 hour tour with Lake Travis Zipline Adventures, featuring 7 zips ranging from 250 feet to 2000 feet, and spectacular views of the Texas Hill Country. Whee! 3. Amy I moved to Austin 14 years ago and I can't imagine living anywhere else. I own a small real estate company and I am fortunate to love what I do for a living. I have a pretty eclectic list of favorite things to do. I enjoy outdoor activities like camping, fishing and hiking, movies and live music, traveling, reading, cooking and Texas Holdem... no bluffing here! My date will include dinner and a movie at Alamo Drafthouse. I will even let you pick the movie because I am easy going like that. 4. Nancy I'm a teacher during the day, but an adventure seeker after hours. I enjoy all kinds of activities and events such as hiking, kayaking, swimming, fishing, but not hunting, watching action movies, going to comedy clubs or master pancake, cooking, target practice and traveling to new places. My date will be dinner at The Daily Grill followed by gaming fun at Main Event. Get ready for some bowling, glow put put, rock climbing, laser tag, billards, and arcades.

5. Denise I'm one of the few and proud, Austin natives, and it's a great place to live! I work in the Tech Industry, so I'm into lots of different and nerdy things. Some of the things I enjoy include hiking, movies and live music, traveling, reading, cooking, touring wineries, and most Alamo Drafthouse events. My date will be a sailboat trip on Lake Travis and maybe some food or drinks afterwards on the shore! 6. Patti I am originally from Mexico, and I've been living in Austin for 2 years. I work from home so I like to join social groups to meet people. Traveling is one of my passions and I really enjoy dancing, doing outdoor activities and spending time with good friends. For our date I would like to go to to Sushi Zushi followed by music and dancing at Gloria's in the Domain. 7. Julie We will go to the Hyatt and have a drink and some appetizers, then we can walk over and see the bats take off. Then we can go over and play Putt Putt at the Peter Pan golf course. If we are hitting it off then and not ready for the date to end then we can go listen to some live music nearby. 8. Alexa My name is Alexa. I’m from Chihuahua, Mexico. I moved to Austin 11 years ago without speaking English. I am a very independent woman who enjoys new challenges and learning new things. I have many interests, including the outdoors, camping, boating, reading, and dancing, with the company of great friends. I’m a very social and outgoing person. I’m down to earth, fun, responsible and have a great sense of humor. For our first date (hopefully we’ll have more than one), I would like to eat at It's Italian, maybe followed by drinks at a nice patio somewhere...
